P.I.E. exists to support, promote and enhance the educational environment of children in the Winterquist Elementary School. We work in conjunction with teachers and other school representatives to provide volunteers, resources, and funding as means to support this objective.

Meeting agendas include a review of previous minutes, financial status, old and new business, and open discussion. The Board conducts its affairs by meeting and following Robert’s Rules of Order. On items requiring votes at the monthly or annual meetings, all parents of K-6 students in attendance are able to vote. No proxy votes are allowed. Decisions are recorded and maintained as determined by a simple majority of those in attendance.  We encourage all to attend.  There is a class prize for the classroom with the most parents in attendance!

P.I.E. meets the first Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.  
Childcare is provided during meetings in a Kindergarten classroom. Childcare providers are 6th grade students who submitted an interest form and have parent approval.
