Enrichment Opportunities
I am asked quite often what enrichment opportunities we have for our students. We send home notes and list events in the school paper, but I know sometimes those come at times we are busy as parents. Here is a ist of activities and programs that we offer.

  • Omnibus units - grades 2-4
  • Junior Great Books - grades 2-4
  • Math Masters - grades 5-6
  • Spelling Bee - grades 5-8
  • Geography Bee - grades 5-8
  • Knowledge Bowl - grades 7-12

Parent Involvement
Winterquist Elementary School has an open environment that encourages parent involvement. There are parents volunteering in classrooms and other areas of the school. We are very proud of our volunteers and welcome others to join us. If you are interested in volunteering you can contact Joyce Bergstedt our Volunteer Coordinator at 218-879-3361 ext. 230.
