We had a successful first two days of kindergarten! We sang songs, did projects and made new friends! Next week will be our first full week of school! We will learn about bus safety and families. WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!! (1)

Fire Safety Week!

What a great week we had! I was so proud. :) We worked very hard on the new sight word: the. We also started having a special password that they have to read to enter the classroom. The password changes each day. We also visited the fire hall, had a fire truck snack and wrote thank you letters to the fire fighters with our fourth grade buddies. I feel that our class now will know what to do in case of a fire. What a smart group! Enjoy the weekend! Mrs. Zywicki

HAPPY OCTOBER!!

This is my first year using a BLOG and I hope to get better at doing it. Please be patient with me as I learn! Things are going great in our kindergarten classroom. We are meeting with our fourth grade friends each Friday. Today we made spiders and wrote a spider story. We even were able to have a marshmallow spider snack! YUM! We are going to be learning about fire safety next week. Please review your fire escape plan at home. We are getting ready for the circus! It will be on Friday, October 26 at 1:30 in the cafeteria. First Week of Kindergarten!!!

We had a wonderful first week of school. We did fun projects, learned rules and made new friends. This week we will begin our new math curriculum and review the alphabet. Thank you parents for helping make your child's first week such a success!!
