After graduating with a Bachelor’s in chemistry and biochemistry from The College of St. Scholastica, I worked in the chemistry field for awhile and then decided to go back to school in order to become a teacher. I attended UMD and received a Post-Baccalaureate in teaching chemistry and teaching physics. I began my teaching career at Esko in 2002. In 2005, I earned my Master’s in Education from Saint Mary’s University. I really enjoy teaching kids science and feel science class provides a good opportunity for students to learn important life lessons and help prepare them for the next step in their lives after high school.
