I have been a proud Eskomo since July of 2016 when I moved here from my Hometown of Bemidji, MN with my wife Emily, an Esko native. I received my bachelor's degree in preprimary education from Bemidji State University in 2011, and taught in the city of Bemidji for 5 years. I received my master's degree in teaching and learning from St. Mary's University in 2022. This my 8th year on staff in Esko. I spent two years as an ECFE teacher through Community Ed. and now teach on the 3rd grade team.

My wife, son Otto, daughter Liv, son Nels (5th generation Eskomos), dachshund Taavi, and I have settled in the old family homestead here in Esko. Outside of teaching I have a passion for the outdoors, cooking, boardgames, storytelling, and learning. I am honored to serve this community and its outstanding academic legacy.
